On the 2nd of April 2012, Walter Brunner (Brunner Austria) -
one of the famous European rod makers - would become 85
years old.
To honor this helpful and unassuming man, who kept fly
fishing with bamboo rods in central Europe alive, some of his
best tapers should stay available for the new fly fishing
generations!
Therefore I will offer you some “Replica” rods of the Salza and
Amabile rod types.

The Salza Replica rods are designed to fish the faster rivers running through the foothills of
the Alps. These rods can also be fished with fine tippets. The tapers have enough power to
help unexercised fly fishermen to cast needed line lengths. These rods will also forgive
